In this unit of the Curiologists classes, students will environmental studies through experiments, labs, demonstrations and models. The class is designed to teach an appreciation for the local environment and the eco-systems around them. Students learn about water and soil, as well as the flora and fauna of the local environment. Labs include water testing, sources of energy, pollution and its effects, habitats, effects of climate change and marine life and eco-systems.
